Launched in 2018 to celebrate MING’s very first anniversary, the MING Ultra Blue is a timepiece that can make a claim that very few modern timepieces can make; its brand’s founder has worked on it. Indeed, each of the 25 pieces from the Ultra Blue collection are made of grade 2 titanium, that has been heat-blued by Ming Thein himself. As is the nature of heat-bluing, each of the 25 timepieces are unique in and of themselves and sport a mixture of blues, purples, and reds across the surface of their cases in various lighting conditions. Fitted with a sunburst metallic blue dial with an updated sapphire ring and satin bead-blasted hands filled with Super-LumiNova, the Ultra Blue is a cacophony of color and style. Powered by the Sellita SW3330-1, the Ultra Blue is as technically proficient as it is beautiful, and will undoubtedly make for the perfect travel companion.

THE DIAL
Fitted with a sunburst metallic blue dial to match its blue titanium case, the Ultra Blue's GMT function is displayed through its center disk that rotates in its entirety, just as a GMT hand would.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Heat-blued by Ming Thein himself, each of the Ultra Blue collection's 25 titanium cases are entirely unique with their own shades of blues, red, and purples, as is the intricate nature of heat-bluing.
