Combining MING's distinctive minimalist design language with William Massena's appreciation for vintage horology, the watch draws inspiration from the celebrated honeycomb dials found on rare mid-century Rolex references while remaining unmistakably modern in its execution.
Limited to just 150 pieces, the 17.09 pairs an elegant 38mm stainless steel case with a beautifully executed honeycomb dial, MING's signature luminous sapphire hour ring and a customised automatic movement. It is a thoughtful collaboration that successfully balances vintage inspiration with contemporary independent watchmaking.

THE DIAL
The beautifully executed honey-coloured dial is inspired by the iconic honeycomb dials found on rare vintage Rolex models, featuring an intricate hexagonal guilloché pattern that radiates from the centre. Surrounding it is MING's signature sapphire dial with luminous hour markers, creating a fascinating blend of vintage inspiration and contemporary design.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The elegantly proportioned 38mm stainless steel case features alternating polished and brushed finishes with flowing, sculptural lugs that have become a hallmark of MING's design language. Its slim profile and domed sapphire crystals ensure exceptional comfort while giving the watch a refined vintage-inspired presence.
