Introduction
Released in 1948 to celebrate Omega's 100th anniversary, the Omega Constellation has evolved from a flagship model to a relatively obscure offering in its modern context. Put forth initially as the limited production "Centenary Chronometer," it saw so much demand that in 1952 Omega decided to keep producing the watch and name it the Constellation. While the watch has undergone several revamps, one of its most highly-coveted variants is the C-Case, or C-Type, which debuted in 1964. Inspired by the space-age style that had taken over the 1960s, the C-Type's design featured some rather dramatic changes from its predecessor, most notably its tonneau-shaped case with integrated lugs. An incredibly rare watch at the best of times. An example such as the one here, with its original white gold Milanese mesh bracelet to match this timepiece's white gold case, is a truly exceptional find and not something you will come across often.

The overall condition of the watch is excellent. The dial is near mint with minimal signs of aging. Case and bracelet are in exceptional condition with extremely faint surface abrasions, consistent with infrequent and careful use. The bracelet is sized to fit a 7" wrist.
Our Perspective
A 1960's 18k WG Omega Constellation is an unusual find- one that comes with an original matching WG band is almost unheard of. I apprecaite the simple yet elegant design of this watch, and its remarkable condition.
