While Omega might be best known for making watches destined the moon and sea, 1940s Omega was famed for creating some terrifically robust timepieces, just like this Oversized CK2186. Powered by a manually-wind cal. 30T2 movement, the CK2186 is known for being wildly oversized for its era, and wonderfully hard-wearing. Sized at 38mm in diameter, the CK2186 has remained entirely contemporary and wearable, even with the ever-increasing sizes of modern watches. On top of its wearable size, this example also boasts a two-tone grey dial with concentric guilloche engravings, gold hands and gold inscriptions along with stylishly-painted matching Arabic numerals. THE CONSTRUCTION
While hailing from the 1940s, the CK2186 was far ahead of its time. Famed for its oversized case, its 38mm diameter remains entirely contemporary and still wonderfully wearable.

Condition
Watch is in very good vintage condition. Case shows wear consistent with the age of the watch, with small dings and scratches visible on the surfaces. Dial has oxidize lightly and is in overall excellent condition. The printing is all legible and shart. Watch comes on a bamboo style bracelet that is not of Omega manufacture.

Blending a vintage construction with modern sizing requirements and an ornate dial, the CK2186 is a beautiful snapshot of 1940s horology that can still be worn and enjoyed to this day.
