Introduction
Linked to iconic F1 world champion, Michael Schumacher, the Omega Speedmaster Reduced ref. 3810.12.40 features the Speedmaster Reduced’s usual 39mm stainless steel case and movement in collaboration with a unique yellow dial design that pays homage to Michael and his time with Jordan Grand Prix. With its yellow center, thick white chapter ring, and large white indices, the ref. 3810.12.40 is a wonderfully legible timepiece that is immediately recognizable on the wrist. Featuring ‘ghost’ hands that float above the dial as their stem blends into the dial, the ref. 3810.12.40 is an interesting timepiece to enjoy as its dial design is that little bit more unusual. THE DIAL
Sporting a deep yellow dial with a white chapter ring and thick white indices, this example's 'ghost' hands seemingly float on top of the dial with their yellow stem blending into the dial beneath them.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Measuring 39mm in diameter and featuring the Speedmaster Reduced's construction, the ref. 3810.12.40 is a wonderful watch to wear that doesn't overpower the wrist.

Condition
Watch is in excellent overall condition. The case shows only minor signs of wear along the edges and surfaces. Bezel edge has minor wear. The crystal is scratched as seen in the images. Dial hnear mint with nicely aged luminous. Watch comes on its original yellow strap and tang buckle.

A beautiful yellow dial brings a delightful pop of color to the Speedmaster Reduced's famous tool watch design in a rather charming fashion, while also allowing the ref. 3810.12.140 to celebrate the early days of Michael's career in a tasteful manner.
