Introduction
Arguably one of the most iconic watchmakers in the industry, Panerai are beloved by their army of passionate collectors, or ‘Paneristi’ as they are known for their larger-than-life timepieces, signature details and rich history as a military-worn dive watch manufacturer. Only coming into the public domain in 1993, Panerai’s timepieces have become cult classics due to their unyielding character, rich heritage and unique looks. Offered here we have the Panerai Luminor 1950 Destro PAM01075 that was released in 2020. Featuring Panerai’s signature Luminor 1950 cushion-shaped case, it forms an impactful presence on the wrist with its 47mm silhouette. Powered by Panerai’s in-house manual-wind cal. P.3000 movement that is on display behind its exhibition caseback, it boasts a 72-hour power reserve and powers the PAM1075’s beautiful beige sandwich dial, a signature of Panerai’s heritage-rich aesthetic. An all-in-one tool watch, like how Panerai intended, the PAM1075 could easily be a one-watch collection thanks to its timeless design and ability to slip from the beach to a suit all with a simple strap change.
