Offered here we have the limited edition of 20 pieces Panerai Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT “Paris Boutique” PAM00404 that was released in 2010 to celebrate the brand’s Paris boutique. Featuring Panerai’s signature Luminor 1950 cushion-shaped case, it forms an impactful presence on the wrist with its 44mm silhouette. Powered by Panerai’s in-house automatic cal. P.2003 movement that is concealed by a solid caseback that includes an engraving of the Eiffel Tower, the PAM404’s construction is as robust as they come. Complete with a date, 10-day power reserve indicator and GMT function, the PAM404’s black sandwich dial recall’s Panerai’s heritage-rich aesthetic all while celebrating their modern watchmaking credentials. Featuring a stunning black sandwich dial, the PAM404's display is filled with useful complications such as its power reserve indicator at 6 o'clock, GMT subdial at 9 o'clock, and date aperture at 3 o'clock which adds an appealing symmetry to its design.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Featuring the Luminor 1950's robust 44mm cushion-shaped construction and Panerai's signature crown-locking mechanism, the PAM404 wears exactly how Paneristis prefer, with its large presence making quite the statement on the wrist. Additionally, as a limited edition variant celebrating the Paris Boutique, it features an engraved caseback depicting the Eiffel Tower.
