Introduction
Arguably one of the most iconic watchmakers in the industry, Panerai are beloved by their army of passionate collectors, or “Paneristi” as they are known, for their larger-than-life timepieces, signature design details and rich history as a military-worn dive watch manufacturer. Only coming into the public domain in the 1993, Panerai’s early timepieces are naturally cult classics due to their unyielding character and rich heritage, and their modern timepieces are equally iconic thanks to their innate ability to draw inspiration from Panerai’s history and add a modern twist, as seen here with this PAM357. Launched in 2010 as a limited edition of just 75 pieces for Dubail, the Parisian jeweller and watch retailer, the PAM357 is a Luminor 1950 Rattrapante Chronograph that features a 44mm PVD-coated stainless steel cushion-shaped construction, a stunning black dial and a useful split-second chronograph complication that ensures this timepiece is a truly useful piece of modern horological prowess. With its pump pushers at 2 o’clock, 4 o’clock, and 8 o’clock the PAM357 carries a significant presence on the wrist, as the Paneristi have come to adore.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
The watch is in overall excellent condition. The black-coated steel case has excellent definition and sharp lines, with some light scratches to the finish on the case sides, edges, and a small mark on the edge of the bezel. The case back shows some marks from wear and features deep, well-defined engravings. The dial and hands are in excellent condition. The watch is fitted with a rubber strap and black Panerai-signed buckle, both in excellent condition. It comes complete with inner and outer boxes, guarantee, timing certificate, booklets, tools, and hangtags.
Our Perspective
An impressively complicated timepiece with a unique design and Panerai's signature aesthetic through its cushion-shaped case and crown-locking mechanism, the PAM357 is as rare as it is robust and function-focused.
