Introduction
Founded in 1996 by Michel Parmigiani, thanks to the support of the Sandoz Family Foundation, Parmigiani Fleurier has quickly become one of the quiet giants of exquisite Swiss watchmaking. Thanks to their connection to the Sandoz family, Parmigiani Fleurier has been able to draw from technical resources that rival those of the biggest brands in the business. With access to Vaucher Manufacture, suppliers of movements to Richard Mille, Hermes, and other powerhouse brands, Parmigiani Fleurier certainly has the watchmaking heft behind them to perform just as well on the international stage as anyone else, even if their name isnt as recognisable as some others. Epitomizing elegance, the Parmigiani Fleurier Metrographe ref. PFC274-0001401 features a sophisticated black dial and is offered on a stainless steel case that offers a refined yet modern aesthetic through its 40mm diameter. Known for its slim 11.7mm profile, for a chronograph, the Tonda Metrographe achieves this profile through its meticulously engineered cal. PF315 automatic movement, which is only 6.1mm thick and comes from Parmigiani Fleurier’s in-house department. Boasting a clean black dial, the Metrographe ref. PFC274-0001401’s display is adorned with slender hour markers and elegant hands that mean this timepiece hits a striking a perfect balance between classic design and contemporary style like so many other watches from Parmigiani Fleurier. Boasting a trio asymmetric subdials – two green ones for its chronograph functions and one black running seconds at 3 o’clock - the Metrographe sports an unusual dial layout that feeds into its unique design.
