Introduction
Released in 2005, the Patek Philippe Annual Calendar ref. 5146J is a modernised version of its predecessor, the ref. 5035, with an updated 39mm case design that is classical in its styling with a round shape, domed bezel, undulating lugs and polished surfaces. Standing at just 11.5mm thick with gently sloped lugs, the ref. 5146J wears comfortably as its profile hugs the wrist allowing its leather strap to comfortably drape over and close with its fold-over clasp. Perhaps the ref. 5146J’s most distinguishing feature, which is the reference we have here, is its beautiful and distinctive silver dial. Modernising the ref. 5035’s Roman numeral dial in lieu of a design that has remained in style today, the ref. 5146J features applied Arabic numerals at 3, 9 and 12 with stick indices elsewhere blending legibility with a clean aesthetic to match its otherwise clutter-free dial. Intelligently laid across its silver dial, the ref. 5146J houses two sunken subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock with the day and date displays and a subtle power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock with a moon phase display mirroring it at 6 o’clock rounding off an incredible symmetrical case design with an equally symmetrical dial layout. Powering by the automatic cal. 324 S IRM QA LU, which is proudly displayed behind its exhibition caseback, the ref. 5146J boasts Patek’s renowned finishing that tops off this wonderfully designed timepiece and serves as a reminder as to why Patek Philippe is so highly regarded as the world's premiere watchmaker.

Condition
Watch is in very good overall condition. Case exhibits wear that is visible on the surfaces of the watch including on the lugs, bezel and case-sides. The wear includes surface scratches and small marks. Hallmarks on the back of the case are still crisp and fully legible. Watch comes on an original Patek Philippe deployant buckle.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
