Launched in 2014 to celebrate Patek Philippe’s 175th anniversary alongside a host of other timepieces, the 175th Anniversary World Time ref. 5575G is an incredible exercise in Haute horology, just like its peers in the 175th-anniversary collection, and the iconic 150th-anniversary collection that preceded it in 1989. Perhaps the most wearable watch within the 175th-anniversary collection, the ref. 5575G features a traditional 39.8mm case design with stunning curves and lines along its mid-case that wrap into the lugs making for a stunning statement on the wrist. Feeding into its statement as an exceptional-looking watch, the ref. 5575 also features a star-studded dial that plays into its discreet moon phase display at 7 o’clock in the dial's center. Powered by the automatic cal. 240 HU LU movement, the ref. 5575G displays the time in 24 cities around the world, which can be quickly cycled through by using the pusher at 11 o’clock on the white gold case. Limited to just 1300 pieces, this 9.8mm tall stunner is a cherished watch that commands a significant amount of respect from collectors, as one might expect on account of its limited nature and significant status as an anniversary piece.

THE DIAL
Alongside its tastefully hidden moon phase at 7 o'clock, the ref. 5575G's hour hand also depicts the north star to heighten its accuracy as a depiction of a stunning night sky.
THE CASEBACK
Marking its status as an anniversary piece, the ref. 5575G features a solid 18k white gold caseback that comes inscribed with Patek's founding year and the ref. 5575's year of release 175 years later.

Condition
The present watch is in excellent to near mint condition with only very light superficial wear on the case. The original owner's name and details have been blacked out with a sharpie pen on the guarantee papers.
