Introduction
Launched in 2001 to celebrate Patek Philippe's 150-year-long partnership with Tiffany & Co., their longest relationship with any retailer, the ref. 5150G, also know as the T150, debuted as a wonderfully designed Annual Calendar complication dress watch with a slew of design choices that pay homage to the two brands' relationship. Starting with its stunning silver dial, the ref. 5150G features a wonderfully legible annual calendar display with its day, month, date and moon phase apertures all pleasantly laid out. As one would expect, the ref. 5150 also features the iconic Tiffany & Co. signature at 6 o'clock and also a 'T' as the 12 o'clock hour marker, which is yet another subtle nod to Tiffany & Co.'s relationship with Patek. A limited edition collection of 150 pieces in white, yellow and rose gold, the example we have here is made of 18kt white gold and features a 36mm Officer case whereby its solid caseback is hinged to allow the automatic movement beneath to be viewed. With a commemorative engraving on its caseback, the ref. 5150G pays homage to Patek and Tiffany's relationship in just about every part of its construction.

Our Perspective
A beautiful watch that highlights the importance of Patek and Tiffany's 150-year-old relationship, the ref. 5150G is a Patek collector's dream, thanks to its inclusion of one of the brand's most important complications and slew of Tiffany-inspired details like their signature at 6 o'clock, the T at 12 o'clock and the commemorative caseback.
