Introduction
Introduced in 2005, the Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 5127 marked the evolution of the manufacture's quintessential dress watch into a more contemporary size while remaining faithful to the timeless principles established by the original Calatrava of 1932. With its perfectly balanced 37mm case, smooth bezel and restrained dial, it represents everything that has made the Calatrava the benchmark for elegant wristwatches for nearly a century.
Produced until approximately 2015, the ref. 5127G pairs its understated 18K white gold case with Patek Philippe's self-winding calibre 324 SC, making it one of the last classic Calatravas to combine traditional styling with a centre seconds automatic movement in a white gold case.

THE DIAL
The warm off-white dial perfectly captures the understated elegance for which the Calatrava is renowned. Applied white gold baton markers, dauphine hands and a discreet date aperture at 3 o'clock create a beautifully balanced display that remains unmistakably Patek Philippe.
THE MOVEMENT
Powering the watch is Patek Philippe's in-house automatic calibre 324 SC, visible through the sapphire case back. Featuring a 21K gold central rotor, Gyromax balance and exceptional finishing throughout, it combines everyday reliability with the refined architecture expected from one of Geneva's finest manufactures.

Condition
Watch is in overall very good condition. The 18K white gold case shows a number of surface scratches, some more noticeable nicks, and signs of a previous polish. The hallmarks and stamps on the rear of the lugs remain crisp. The dial and hands are in excellent condition. It is fitted with a black leather strap and an 18K white gold pin buckle showing surface scratches. Comes with the inner and outer boxes. The original certificate of origin is not included.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
