THE DIAL
Boasting an ivory lacquered dial, the ref. 5227R's display appears almost golden, which provides its hands and indices with a monochromatic backdrop that allows them to fade into the background.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Measuring 39mm in diameter and made of 18kt rose gold, the ref. 5227R features a hefty case indeed. However, with its elegant domed bezel, polished surfaces, and thin 9.24mm profile, it wears with a supreme sense of decorum, as one might expect from Patek.

A beautiful stylish timepiece, the ref. 5227R feeds off of the Calatrava's original Bauhaus inspiration and unsurprisingly wears with a sense of elegance that few other watches are quite able to emulate.
