THE DIAL
Rather than a conventional dial, the ref. 5180/1R presents the movement itself as the display. Every bridge has been skeletonised and lavishly hand engraved, allowing light to pass through the calibre while revealing its remarkable depth and complexity. Slim blackened white gold leaf-shaped hands provide excellent legibility without detracting from the extraordinary craftsmanship beneath.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The elegant 39mm 18K rose gold case measures just 6.7mm thick, providing the perfect showcase for the openworked movement while maintaining the refined proportions expected of a Calatrava. Completing the watch is an exquisitely crafted integrated polished gold mesh bracelet that flows seamlessly into the case and secures with a matching 18K rose gold fold-over clasp.
