Introduction
Introduced in 1993, the Patek Philippe reference 5014 belongs to a distinguished lineage of elegant rectangular dress watches that traces its heritage to the manufacture's celebrated shaped timepieces of the twentieth century. Produced until 2005 in yellow, pink and white gold, the reference combined timeless Art Deco-inspired proportions with contemporary mechanical engineering, offering collectors a sophisticated alternative to the brand's more widely recognised Calatrava models. Today, the 5014 remains one of Patek Philippe's most understated modern classics, appreciated for its refined design, discreet elegance and relatively limited production.
This example, dating from 1995, is crafted in 18k white gold and features the classic white dial with black Roman numerals, a configuration that perfectly complements the architectural lines of the rectangular case. Powering the watch is Patek Philippe's manually wound calibre 215 PS, one of the manufacture's most respected movements, celebrated for its slim construction, reliability and exceptional finishing. Accompanied by its original Certificate of Origin and presentation box, this reference represents an increasingly collectible example of Patek Philippe's enduring mastery of elegant dress watch design.

THE DIAL
The crisp white dial is distinguished by elegant black Roman numerals, slender feuille hands and a subsidiary seconds display. Its classical layout perfectly complements the refined proportions of the rectangular case.

THE MOVEMENT
The in-house calibre 215 PS is one of Patek Philippe's most accomplished manually wound movements. Slim, beautifully finished and exceptionally reliable, it has powered many of the manufacture's finest dress watches for decades and remains a benchmark for traditional Genevan watchmaking.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
Watch is in overall excellent condition. The 18K white gold case shows light surface scratches and marks. The case back retains crisp hallmarks, while the screw heads show slight wear. The Calatrava Cross-embossed winding crown has a couple of surface scratches but remains well defined. It is fitted with a black leather strap and a Patek Philippe 18K white gold pin buckle showing light surface scuffs. Comes with the Certificate of Origin, booklets and document holder.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
