Introduction
During the early twentieth century, Patek Philippe was producing some of the finest pocket watches in the world, combining exceptional movement finishing with elegant case design and uncompromising precision. While wristwatches were beginning to emerge, the pocket watch remained the ultimate expression of refined watchmaking, and examples retailed by Tiffany & Co. rank amongst the most desirable thanks to the historic partnership between the two maisons that continues to this day.
Offered here is an elegant platinum open-faced pocket watch retailed by Tiffany & Co. and dating to circa 1920. Housed within a beautifully proportioned 45mm platinum case, it is powered by a finely finished manual-wind movement. The silvered dial is classically executed with applied Art Deco Arabic numerals and a subsidiary seconds display, while the case back features an inlaid monogram. Completing the package is a gold watch chain.

THE DIAL
The dial features elegant applied Art Deco Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds register, creating a wonderfully balanced aesthetic typical of Patek Philippe's finest pocket watches from the period. THE CONSTRUCTION
Crafted in platinum, the elegant case offers understated sophistication while protecting a beautifully executed manual-wind movement. The case back features an attractive inlaid monogram, a detail that adds to the watch's individuality without detracting from its timeless appeal.

Condition
Watch is in overall excellent condition. The platinum case shows surface scratches and small nicks, as expected of a watch of this vintage. The case back features an inlaid monogram. The winding bow retains a crisp Patek Philippe stamp. The dial, signed Tiffany & Co., remains in excellent condition, with just a couple of small surface marks. The applied hour markers and hands are very clean. Comes with a Tiffany pouch and a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives. The chain is unsigned nor hallmarked, but it appears to be WG with Onyx inlays. There is some small damage to some of the onyx inlays as seen in the images.
