Often when we examine brands at the top of watchmaking, one of the criticisms is their seemingly nonchalant attitude toward designing genuine women's watches. It is, unfortunately, the case that a lot of watchmakers will just make men's offerings smaller and give them feminine dials, but Patek Philippe can certainly not be accused of such a thing. Instead, they have created the Twenty-4 collection so that it can occupy their catalog as a true women's-focused timepiece that can easily stand on its own design merits. First launched in 1999, it has become incredibly popular thanks to its Art Deco-inspired design that often blended diamonds and beautiful dial options with precious metals. Debuting in 2021, the ref. 7300/1200A-011 that we have here breaks from that convention slightly as it features a stainless steel construction, a rarity for Patek. However, in keeping with the Twenty-4’s design, it does feature a diamond-set bezel and a stunning sunburst olive green dial complete with applied Arabic numerals and a stylish bracelet that showcases the same objectively excellent craftsmanship as the rest of the timepiece.
