Introduction
Launched as the last of the Model 42 collection to be released by Paul Gerber’s Zurich workshop, the Triple Rotor-1 is the distillation of Gerber’s work into a single timepiece. Boasting a 42mm diameter titanium case with an anthracite grey dial that sports a guilloche pattern CNC engraved by Gerber himself, the resulting aesthetic is that of modernity and traditionalism combining into one. Powered by an automatic ETA cal. 2824-2 that was modified by Gerber with his famed triple rotor winding mechanism, whereby it features a trio of winding rotors, as shown behind its exhibition caseback, the Model 42 is an interesting timepiece from both of its sides.

CNC engraved by Gerber himself, this limited edition variant of the Model 42 features an anthracite grey dial that is alive with detail and craftsmanship.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Combining with Model 42's anthracite grey dial, this example's lightweight titanium construction results in a wonderfully monochromatic aesthetic on the wrist.

Condition
Overall near mint. The titanium case has some light marks, with a couple of scratches on the bezel and lug edges. The dial and hands are like new. The watch is fitted with an alligator strap and titanium buckle in near-mint condition. Comes complete with box, warranty card, booklet, cleaning cloth, and an additional Jean Rousseau strap.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
Limited to only 46 pieces and showcasing Gerber's famed triple rotor winding system, the Model 42 is a casual and understated timepiece that is packed with whacky independent horological personality.
