Introduction
A collaboration between Ressence and the famed watch publication HODINKEE, the Ressence Type 1 Slim HOD is, as HODINKEE put it, "the most unadulterated take on a Ressence watch yet" as the two brands have worked to distill Ressence's signature design language and simultaneously remove any distracting design details. With its skeletonized dial, the timepiece highlights the movement beneath without compromising the unique display that has gone on to become one of Ressence's most important details in its aesthetic and mechanical execution. Offered in a monochromatic grey case and dial on a grey textile strap, the timepiece pays homage to HODINKEE's signature color while also playing to the timepiece's intention to refrain from being too loud. With only 20 pieces produced, this is an incredibly limited and rare timepiece that has the looks to back up its unique aesthetic and intriguing mechanics.

THE DIAL
Featuring an openworked dial, the type 1 Slim HOD gives a better view of its movement than any previous Ressence release, and has a stunning honeycomb pattern.
THE CASE
A streamlined version of Ressence's Type 1 case, the Type 1 Slim HOD earns its name thanks to an 11mm thick profile and a crown-less construction. Instead, it is wound and set via the crown built into its caseback.
