Introduction
Designing watches the likes of which have never been seen before, Ressence’s unique approach to watchmaking has created a design language that is traceable only to them. Characteristically unconventional, to put it lightly, Ressence utilizes spherical discs displaying the hours, minutes, seconds, and days that rotate through the displays of their timepieces to create an ever-evolving appearance for their watches. Released in 2014 and featuring a display system called the ‘Ressence Orbital Convex System’ that comprises of 27 gears and 40 jewels with painted engraved indications, the Type 1G is a true feat of craftsmanship and engineering that truly seems to have come from a sci-fi movie rather than an artisanal Swiss watchmaker. The "G" in 1G is for its beautiful silvered guilloche dial, which was executed by Faberge.

THE DIAL
A beautiful silver dial with a subtle guilloche engraving within, the Type 1G's dial displays the hours in its largest subdial, the minutes with its single hand (displaying 11 minutes in this image), the running seconds (at 12 o'clock in this image) and the day of the week in the last remaining dial.
THE CASE
The Type 1G’s titanium case features a system whereby the means to wind the watch or set the time are operated by the periphery of the caseback.

Condition
Overall condition of the watch is excellent. Dial appears to be in like new condition. Case is mint, with little to no signs of wear. Caseback has a few abrasions around the "Winding" and "Set Day" Indicator. Strap shows signs of light wear (One of the side stitches has fallen off) and the original buckle has some surface abrasions.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, an alternative leather strap to the existing exotic version, shall be provided.
Our Perspective
A unique watch oozing with personality and a distinctive style that only Ressence have come to master, the Type 1G is a wonderful example of what a watchmaker can create when they venture beyond the conventions set by their industry.
