Made of 18kt rose gold with a stunning ribbed design engraved across its bezel that reflects the wooden decks on yachts, the RM014 was launched in 2007 and remains truly futuristic all these years later. With its manual-wind skeletonized tourbillon cal. RM014 movement and a matching skeletonized dial, the RM014’s display remains rather legible with a carbon nanofibre dial baseplate allowing the RM014’s luminous Arabic numerals and complications stand out against their dark backdrop. Selected as a material for its thermometric stability and chemical neutrality, carbon nanofiber makes for the perfect baseplate as it remains unchanged across a wide variety of temperatures, allowing for more accurate timekeeping – something that Richard Mille are willing to go to no end to achieve.

THE DIAL
Featuring an intricately skeletonized dial atop an intricately skeletonized movement, the RM014 reveals the truly labyrinthine structure that lies within its fuselage and powers its functions, amongst which it includes the hours and minutes, a function selector, a power-reserve and torque indicator and, of course, a tourbillon.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Featuring Richard Mille's signature tonneau-shaped construction with a ribbed design engraved across its 18kt rose gold bezel; the RM014 boasts the brand's emblematic wrist presence that has allowed the watchmaker to become instantly recognizable on the wrist of its collectors.
