THE DIAL

THE CONSTRUCTION
Modern in its sizing, the 41mm Datejust brings a familiar silhouette to the wrist that most collectors of modern watches will probably recognize and be comfortable with. Offered with a fluted bezel and Oyster bracelet, this example brings a sporty feeling to the Datejust's typically classical aesthetic.

Condition
Watch is in near-mint condition. There are minor signs of use, with small scratches visible along the case surface. The back of lugs have minor signs of wear from bracelet removal, and there is a tiny ding visible on the backside edge of one lug, as seen in the images. Bracelet has 12 links currently fitted, with 6 being removable. There is one additional link included on the side.
Our Perspective
An icon of horology, the Datejust has grown into a larger-than-life character within the world of watchmaking. While typically classical in its execution, the Oyster bracelet and the Datejust II's 41mm sizing combines to give this usually restrained watch a larger-than-life presence on the wrist - making it perfect for the modern collector.
