Contrasting its bright 18kt white gold construction, this example boasts a jet black dial, complete with luminova lume plots just behind each of its applied stick hour markers, making it beautiful and functional.

Featuring an 18kt white gold construction, it would be easy for the untrained eye to pass over this Day-Date, but its precious metal construction and legendary heritage create a timepiece that is understated yet exceptional.

Condition
The watch is in overall excellent condition. The white gold case has some light marks and nicks, as expected of a watch of this vintage. The case back shows some light marks, and the hallmark on the back of the lug is still legible. The fluted bezel shows gentle wear in places but remains generally well defined. The watch retains its white gold crown. The watch is fitted with a service luminova black dial and matching luminova hands. The watch is fitted with a white gold President bracelet with a non-concealed clasp, showing light marks and light play between the links. The bracelet has 19 links and fits an approximately 7 3/4” wrist. Comes with some Rolex service center papers dated 2025 Papers note that a new caseback was fitted to the watch.

Combining a bright 18kt white gold construction with a dark black dial to create a wonderfully understated exercise in luxurious monochromatic watch design, this 1803 is a perfect balance between luxury and refinement.
