THE DIAL
While silver in color at first glace, this timepiece's secret reveals itself very quickly due to the shimmer of its pave-set diamond display. With blue enamel-filled hour markers with larger markers at 6 and 9 o'clock used to provide visual symmetry, as echoed by the Day-Date's eponymous apertures at 12 and 3 o'clock, this timepiece showcases the level of detail Rolex puts into their watches.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Featuring the Day-Date's most iconic elements, this example sports Rolex's signature fluted bezel and Presidential bracelet alongside its incredible diamond-studded pave-set dial. However, as a Day-Date II, as produced from 2008 to 2014, this model is 41mm instead of the traditional 36mm or current 40mm - giving it extra wrist presence and lustre.

Condition
Watch is in excellent overall condition. Case exhibits some wear along the surfaces, including some small scratches and marks. Caseback hallmarks are sharp and crisp. Bracelet has minimal stretch and 23 links total, 6 of which are removable.
Our Perspective
An incredibly luxurious timepiece, this diamond-set Day-Date II marries the collection's signature elements with some more modern touches, such as its larger size and use of colored enamel indices - both of which were probably ahead of their time.
