THE DIAL

Fitting with a stunning silver dial that matches its 18k white gold fluted bezel, this example's dial is the pie-pan variant, with a recessed periphery and chapter ring.

THE CONSTRUCTION

While gold is known for its lack of oxidization, its alloys can still develop a patina sometimes. This 18k white gold example has seen its case develop an incredibly unique patina across the entirety of its white gold case that gives it a rather unique aesthetic.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT

This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.

Condition

In very attractive and original condition. The case throughout has developed a very even patina or tarnish over the years which gives this example a very unique aesthetic. The case itself has strong hallmarks and good proportions with light surface wear with age. The dial is in nice overall condition, with oxidation towards the edges and the lumes have some minor oxidation marks underneath them.

Our Perspective

On a leather strap, the 1803 Day-Date can be somewhat of a chameleon. Simple and clean (as shown), its personality is different from that of its bracelet-clad siblings. That bit more casual and refined, the leather strap injects a sense of everyday wearability to the Day-Date. With its unique patina, this example will undoubtedly brighten your day up as you look down at a watch, unlike most timepieces you will see elsewhere.
