THE DIAL
Featuring a stunningly aged dial, this example would have originally boasted a silver dial, but it has now turned a rather vivid shade of creamy yellow that can transform from light yellow to a dark shade of mustard at the flick of the wrist.
THE CONSTRUCTION
This ref. 18039's 18kt white gold construction features all of the Day-Date's signature elements with its 36mm case, iconic Presidential bracelet and wonderful fluted bezel.

Condition
Watch is in very good overall condition. There is surface wear, visible on case, bracelet and bezel. Silver dial has aged to a tropical almost champagne color. It is otherwise free from visible defects and has nicely toned domed luminous plots. The bracelet has 23 links, 4 of which are removable. There is minor stretch.

Combining an understated 18kt white gold construction with an incredibly unique dial, this ref. 18039 is a wonderful example that embodies the "if you know, you know" vibe that so many collectors cherish.
