Debuting in 1953 and released to the public the following year, the Rolex Submariner has undoubtedly become one of the most iconic timepieces of all time thanks to its legendary status as Rolex's flagship dive watch. Used extensively by the British Royal Navy and professional diving operations like COMEX, the Submariner set the bar for all dive watches to follow. Watch is in excellent overall condition. The lugs and case exhibits light wear, with some surface scratches and small nicks. Bezel insert has a couple small indentations visible on the surface. Dial near mint with no visible marks, luminova hands and plots white in tone. Bracelet has 10 full links and one half link. One full like is removable. The bracelet shows light stretch.

Perhaps one of the most iconic watches ever created, the Submariner is the archetypal luxury timepiece, and the ref. 16610 is its longest-running and best-known variant with 20 years of service from 1988 until 2008.
