Introduction
Debuting in 1953 and released to the public the following year, the Rolex Submariner has undoubtedly become one of the most iconic timepieces of all time thanks to its legendary status as Rolex's flagship dive watch. Used extensively by the British Royal Navy and professional diving operations like COMEX, the Submariner set the bar for all dive watches to follow. Featuring a genuinely timeless design that has remained relatively unchanged throughout its history, this Rolex has become the archetypal sports watch. With very few large-scale aesthetic upgrades made to it over the years except for timely advancements like introducing a date function to the collection in the late '60s, and its modern cerachrom bezels, the Submariner is seen as the prototypical dive watch thanks to its consistency. The Submariner has earned its status as a legendary watch, with it today remaining as one of the most sought-after timepieces around.
Released in September of 2020, the Rolex Starbucks became the latest addition to the ever-popular and growing family of green-themed Rolex Submariners. Succeeding the fan-favorite Rolex "Hulk", the Starbucks resembles the model that came before it, the 50th-anniversary Submariner "Kermit", thanks to its green bezel and black dial. Ditching the Hulk's maxi-case lugs, the Starbucks features thinner lugs that bring it even closer to its predecessor. Fitted with a green Cerachrom bezel insert, the updated cal. 3235 movement with a 70-hour power reserve, an impressive 300m water resistance, and Rolex's incredible Glidelock clasp system, the Starbucks remains an incredibly reliable and functional dive watch, should you ever decide to take the plunge. Measuring in at 41mm in diameter, the Starbucks sits with a more modern profile on the wrist as its proportions increase legibility and comfort.

Our Perspective
A tremendous upgrade from the previous "Hulk" Submariner, I love the slimmed down and streamlined proportions of new case. Who knew that a little nip and tuck would make the watch so much more wearable. Elusive to find at your local AD, get it here at no reserve.
