THE DIAL
Sporting a truly stunning vignette finish, this example's dial transitions from a rich oxblood red at its core to near-black burgundy along its periphery. Contrasting this dark rim of the dial, this example also swaps the Day-Date's traditional gold hour markers with brilliant-cut and baguette-cut diamond hour markers for a flourish of luxury and beauty.
THE CONDITION
Offered in mint condition, this example's warm gold tarnish hints at its lack of wear time, much like its perfectly preserved caseback sticker whose only hint of age is the print that it has lost over the years.

A wonderfully executed piece of exuberant Rolex design, this example's dial introduced the vignette effect to Rolex's watches long before a certain photograph app infiltrated watchmaking.
