Taking inspiration from what came before it, the latest white gold Submariner featured a blue Cerachrom bezel just like its predecessor and, just as Rolex had done with the Submariner 'Hulk' to Submariner 'Starbucks,' it swapped the ref. 116619LB's previously blue dial for a toned-down black dial in keeping with its stealth-wealth appeal as a precious metal tool watch.
