While not traditionally known for boasting famed watchmakers like some other countries, Finland has undoubtedly found its way onto the map thanks to Sarapeneva - one of the most unique and distinctive independent watchmakers in the industry. Launched in 2016, the K0 has seen several iterations over its relatively long history in Sarpaneva’s catalog, but the example we have here is perhaps one of the most stunning. Boasting Sarpaneva’s 46mm “Korona” case in stainless steel with all of the brand’s signature design elements such as sharp angles and smooth curves that are combined with angular recesses and protruding pieces, it is a timepiece imbued with Sarpaneva’s distinguished aesthetic. Of course, like so many of Sarpaneva’s incredible timepieces, the K0 features a beautiful dial, with this example featuring a two-part dial with a bright blue skeletonized plate underneath a smaller steel top plate that creates two sandwiched layers atop the luminous dial underneath. Offered as the “Winter” variant of the K0 Seasons collection, this example is inspired by the harsh Nordic winters as it combines the blue and white icy palette of Finland and imbues it into a timepiece.

Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The steel case shows light signs of careful wear, including a couple of light scratches to the bezel and lugs. The dial and hands are like new. The case back retains well-defined engravings. It is fitted with a black leather strap and a steel pin buckle, showing light scuffs. Comes with the box and warranty card.

Limited to only 20 examples, the Winter variant of the K0 Seasons collection is perhaps the variant most closely linked with the weather one could expect to experience in Sarpaneva's home of Finland.
