While watchmaking is dominated by a handful of Goliath-like brands, there are some independent microbrands that operate like David and offer services that those larger brands just can’t quite offer, like bespoke creations that are individual to the wearer. Founded in 2015 with a simple idea, Sartory Billard set out to design and create timepieces that capture and express the unique history and personality of their customers by offering their clients the ability to customize almost every piece of their watch, so long as the watch was from their range of references. Offered here we have the SB05, a 38.5mm x 8.5mm manual-wind timepiece that is made of titanium and features a stunning dial with an aventurine chapter ring and a lake blue guilloche center that allows light to bounce across the dial’s textures and colors in a truly mesmerizing fashion.
