While watchmaking is dominated by a handful of Goliath-like brands, there are some independent microbrands that operate like David and offer services that those larger brands just can’t quite offer, like bespoke creations that are individual to the wearer. Founded in 2015 with a simple idea, Sartory Billard set out to design and create timepieces that capture and express the unique history and personality of their customers by offering their clients the ability to customize almost every piece of their watch, so long as the watch was from their range of references. Offered here we have the SB05, a manual-wind timepiece powered by the cal. SBM01 that features a 38.5mm x 8.5mm case made of titanium and features a stunning dial with an aventurine center and a deep royal blue periphery that houses raised Korean numerals at each of the even spaces. Additionally, showcasing just how much they customize their watches, this SB05 also boasts Sartory Billard’s name in Korean on the cartouche at 6 o’clock, not something you see watchmakers doing too often, if ever, and thus making this a very unique piece indeed.

Watch is in near-mint condition, with only light signs of use. There are a few faint hairlines visible along the titanium case.
