Introduction
Introduced in 2023, the Singer Reimagined 1969 collection takes its name from one of the pivotal years in chronograph history, when Zenith's El Primero, the Chronomatic/Calibre 11 and Seiko's 6139 all emerged. Singer approached that period not by recreating a particular vintage watch, but by imagining what one of its own watches might have looked like had it existed in 1969. The result retains the automotive influence and unconventional mechanics that have defined Singer Reimagined from the beginning, but packages them in a more compact, distinctly vintage-inspired form.
The 1969 Timer is the simpler, though mechanically no less intriguing, of the two watches that launched the collection. Its 40mm stainless steel case houses the manually wound calibre 6363, an Agenhor-developed movement derived from the architecture behind Singer's earlier Flytrack. Central hours and minutes provide conventional timekeeping, while the continuously running central seconds hand doubles as a 60-second timer. Pressing the pusher at two o'clock resets the hand to zero; releasing it immediately sends it back into motion. With its piano-black lacquer dial, gold-toned details, flashes of orange and unusual timing function, the 1969 Timer distils Singer's combination of late-1960s racing aesthetics and inventive contemporary mechanics into a notably more wearable package.

THE DIAL
The piano-black lacquer dial combines gold-toned markings and applied details with a distinctive fluted gold-coloured ring and flashes of orange. Unlike earlier Singer models, hours and minutes are displayed conventionally by central hands, while the central seconds hand also serves as the watch's zero-reset 60-second timer.

THE CONSTRUCTION
The 40mm stainless steel case measures 15.6mm thick and combines brushed surfaces with polished bevels. A single timer pusher sits at two o'clock, balanced by the crown at four, while a domed glass-box sapphire crystal reinforces the vintage character. The case is water resistant to 100 metres and fitted with a sapphire display back.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The stainless steel case shows light signs of careful wear, most noticeably to the bracelet and clasp. The dial and hands are like new. The stainless steel bracelet shows no play between the links. The bracelet is fitted with 10 links, 3 of which are removable, and fits approximately a 6¾” wrist. There are 4 spare links included. Comes with outer box, inner zip leather box, dust bag and warranty booklet.
Our Perspective
The 1969 Timer is a clever exercise in reduction. Rather than offering a conventional chronograph, Singer gives the central seconds hand a second purpose, creating a simple 60-second timing function controlled by a single pusher. Combined with the hand-wound Agenhor calibre, compact 40mm case and strong late-1960s racing aesthetic, it captures Singer Reimagined's character without the visual complexity of the Track 1 or 1969 Chronograph.
