Introduction
Founded in Frankfurt in 1961 by pilot and flight instructor Helmut Sinn, Sinn Spezialuhren built its reputation by producing highly functional instrument watches engineered for demanding professional environments. Rather than pursuing luxury for its own sake, the company focused on legibility, durability and technical innovation, earning a devoted following among pilots, divers, military personnel and engineers. Throughout its history, Sinn has also produced a number of limited-edition models in collaboration with specialist partners, many of which have become highly collectible thanks to their unusual configurations and limited production.
Produced in 2006 in a limited edition of just 1,000 pieces, the reference 303 Kristall for Fulda celebrates Sinn's long-standing relationship with Fulda, the renowned German tyre manufacturer. Based on the versatile 303 chronograph platform, the watch combines a robust stainless steel case with one of the most dependable automatic chronograph movements ever produced, the Valjoux 7750. Designed with everyday practicality in mind, it offers a chronograph, day and date display, 24-hour indication and tachymeter scale within a highly legible dial accented by vivid orange chronograph hands.

THE DIAL
The deep blue dial is designed for maximum legibility, with luminous baton hour markers, contrasting subsidiary registers and bright orange chronograph hands providing immediate visual distinction. A day and date display, together with a discreet 24-hour indication, reinforces the watch's practical, instrument-focused character.

THE MOVEMENT
Powering the watch is the legendary Valjoux calibre 7750, one of the most successful automatic chronograph movements ever produced. Celebrated for its durability, reliability and ease of servicing, it has become the benchmark movement for countless professional chronographs over the past five decades.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
Watch is in overall excellent condition. The steel case shows signs of careful wear, with a couple of light surface marks and small nicks to the edge of the bezel. Most of the red and black enamel remains intact within the bezel scale. The case back is clean, retaining well-defined engravings, with light marks in the case back tool recesses. The blue soleil-finished dial shows some patchy surface degradation. The hands remain clean overall, although the central chronograph hand shows some fading and loss of its orange finish. It is fitted with a steel bracelet that remains in its original protective plastic. The bracelet is fitted with 10 links and fits approximately a 7” wrist. According to the consignor, the watch has primarily been worn on the included one-piece leather strap. Comes with the presentation box, guarantee, booklet, instruction sheet, additional blue leather strap, tool, loupe, and Fulda booklet.
Our Perspective
Sinn has long excelled at producing watches that prioritise engineering integrity over unnecessary complication, and the 303 Kristall is an excellent example of that philosophy. Combining the proven Valjoux 7750 with Sinn's distinctive instrument-watch design language and limited to just 1,000 examples, it offers collectors a characterful and increasingly difficult-to-find chronograph from one of Germany's most respected contemporary watchmakers.
