Introduction
Launched in 2024, the SpaceOne Tellurium is a cosmos-inspired timepiece that distils the solar system into its dial to create a wonderful mechanical display of merriment. Assembled in Paris, SpaceOne was founded with the idea to offer avant-garde timepieces for a fraction of the cost that other independent watchmakers typically charge. Boasting a grade 5 titanium case, the Tellurium is a large watch at 50mm long x 42mm wide x 16mm tall, but with that space (pun intended), the French microbrand has fitted their watch with a whole universe of mechanics. At the center of its two-piece aventurine dial are two floating hands beneath a depiction of the sun, which is then orbited by the Earth, which is also orbited by the Moon. Complete with date and month apertures at 6 o’clock, the Tellurium is a wonderful combination of the heliocentric model of the solar system and avant-garde watchmaking design and engineering that combine to create a stunning timepiece that is full of fun and wonder.

THE DIAL
Featuring a rather unique display, the Tellurium features floating hands set on an aventurine base underneath a model of the sun, with a model of the Earth and Moon along their orbit around the dial. In addition, it also features a date and month complication at 6 o'clock.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Sporting a futuristic aesthetic, the Tellurium boasts a blue PVD-coated grade 5 titanium case that is shaped like something from outer space.

Our Perspective
Aesthetically avant-garde and offering the sort of cosmic inspiration that gave us watches from the likes of MB&F and Urwerk, but at a fraction of the price, the SpaceOne Tellurium is a wonderful example of what is possible when independent microbrands let their creative juices flow freely.
