Introduced in 2019, the Speake-Marin One&Two Openworked Dual Time marked a new chapter for the independent brand, combining Peter Speake-Marin's distinctive design language with the manufacture's first family of proprietary automatic calibres. Housed within the modern Piccadilly case redesigned by Eric Giroud, the collection blends contemporary architecture with practical complications and the brand's unmistakable British-inspired character.
Released for Watches & Wonders 2021, the Mint edition brings a fresh aesthetic to the collection with its striking combination of mint green, black and silver. Produced as a limited edition of just 18 pieces in the 42mm case size, it pairs a black DLC-coated titanium case with an openworked dual-time display and in-house micro-rotor movement, making it one of the most distinctive modern creations from Speake-Marin.

THE DIAL
The partially openworked dial combines mint green, black and silver tones to create a striking architectural display. A second time zone with day/night indication sits at 9 o'clock opposite the small seconds and retrograde date display, while the exposed barrel at 5 o'clock reveals part of the movement's intricate mechanical construction.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The 38mm Piccadilly case is crafted from black DLC-coated titanium, offering a lightweight and contemporary interpretation of Speake-Marin's signature design. Reworked lugs, a slim profile and box-shaped sapphire crystal give the watch exceptional wearability while preserving its distinctive architectural presence.

Condition
Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The case shows light signs of careful wear, with minor marks to the edges of the lugs, the strap screws, and a couple of places around the bezel edge. The case back retains well-defined engravings, with some wear to the finish around the screw holes and light wear to the screw heads. The dial and hands are like new. It is fitted with a black Speake-Marin rubber strap and a black pin buckle showing light signs of wear. Comes with the zip pouch presentation box, warranty, booklet, cleaning cloth, and the original mint green rubber strap.

Limited to just 10 examples, the 38mm One&Two Openworked Dual Time Mint is among the rarest modern Speake-Marin watches. Combining an inventive in-house movement, lightweight titanium construction and a bold yet elegant colour palette, it perfectly illustrates the brand's ability to merge contemporary independent watchmaking with distinctive, highly wearable design.
