The Carrera has been central to TAG Heuer's identity since Jack Heuer introduced the original chronograph in 1963. Named after the Carrera Panamericana road race, its defining qualities were clarity, functionality and a clean case design that offered a more restrained alternative to many contemporary racing chronographs. Those same principles would provide fertile ground for the numerous Carrera revivals that followed decades later.

Dating to the mid-2000s, the ref. CV2113-0 is a particularly attractive modern interpretation of the classic Carrera formula. Its polished 39mm stainless steel case retains the sharply defined lugs and compact proportions associated with the collection, while the black dial is contrasted by three silvered registers to create a distinctive reverse-panda appearance. A discreet date aperture sits between 4 and 5 o'clock, while applied baton markers and polished hands preserve the clean, highly legible character of the Carrera. Inside is the automatic TAG Heuer calibre 17, a modular chronograph movement.
