Introduction
Introduced in 2023, the Tudor Black Bay 54 pays tribute to the brand's very first dive watch, the Oyster Prince Submariner reference 7922 of 1954. By returning to the original's compact 37mm case, slim profile and uncluttered dial, Tudor created one of its most faithful vintage-inspired divers to date. Combined with modern construction, a COSC-certified manufacture movement and 200 metres of water resistance, the Black Bay 54 quickly became one of the most celebrated contemporary sports watches in the Tudor catalogue.
The present example is considerably rarer than the standard production model. Produced in 2026 to commemorate Meta's 20th anniversary, it features a special corporate dial replacing the customary depth rating and chronometer text with the Meta logo above six o'clock. Corporate-dial Tudors have become an increasingly collectible niche, with watches produced in very limited numbers for employees, executives or special events, making this one of the rarest Black Bay 54 variants produced.

THE DIAL
The clean black dial remains faithful to the minimalist aesthetic of the standard Black Bay 54 but is distinguished by the special Meta corporate logo positioned above six o'clock in place of the usual depth rating and chronometer text. This subtle yet highly significant variation immediately identifies the watch as one of Tudor's rare corporate-dial editions.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The 37mm stainless steel case faithfully recreates the proportions of Tudor's original 1954 Submariner while incorporating all the benefits of modern watchmaking. Paired with a unidirectional aluminium bezel, domed sapphire crystal and Tudor's three-link bracelet featuring the excellent T-Fit rapid adjustment clasp, it delivers exceptional comfort and versatility.

Watch is in overall like-new condition. The case shows only light signs of wear or handling. The bracelet is fitted with 13 links and fits approximately an 8¼” wrist.
