Introduction
Unveiled in 2012 at Baselworld, the Tudor Black Bay has quickly become one of Tudor’s best-selling collections as it takes direct inspiration from the iconic Tudor Submariner ref. 7922. Seeking to build on the aesthetics of the early Submariner models, the Black Bay family is beloved by Tudor’s collectors for its vintage-inspired design traits like its faux-rivet bracelet, gilt inscriptions, anodized aluminum bezel insert, and large crown. However, of the Black Bay’s several variants, one reigns supreme as the most popular, the Harrods Edition. Released in 2017 as a limited production, this variant can only be purchased through the iconic London luxury goods retailer and features a bezel insert sporting the store’s signature shade of green that separates it from the rest of Tudor’s regular offerings as a hard-to-find and exclusive timepiece.

Our Perspective
Serving as one of the rare occasions of a modern collaboration between one of the Rolex group brands and a retailer, the Harrods Edition Black Bay is a modern example of a retailer and watchmaker coming together to create a timepiece that is, in equal parts, stunning and exclusive.
