Launched in 2021 to celebrate 50 years of history with the chronograph, the Black Bay Chronograph burst onto the watchmaking scene and set Tudor’s passionate base of fans and collectors into overdrive. Merging some vintage elements with their modern craftsmanship, the Black Bay Chronograph quickly became one of their most popular offerings, which it remains today. Offered with either a white or black dial, the stainless steel 41mm chronograph boasts an anodized aluminum bezel insert like watches of old, and screw-down pushers that Tudor’s sister company Rolex, pioneered all those years back with the Daytona. A stunning timepiece with a robust construction much like what Tudor and Rolex’s repuation has been built on for decades, the Black Bay Chronograph is a timepiece that pays faithful homage to what has come before it al while celebrating modern watchmaking, with its exceptional movement, the automatic cal. A wonderful watch, the examples we have here is the ref. 79360N with a reverse panda black dial with white subdials that is incredibly stealthy and under-the-radar – a worthwhile picku-up for any collector.
