Introduction
Founded in 1846, Ulysse Nardin are one of watchmaking’s most famed brands in the world of seafaring due to their highly accurate marine chronometers and complicated timepieces. In service across more than fifty of the world's navies from the end of the 19th century till 1950, Ulysse Nardin’s modern brand is built upon this maritime heritage, with a host of their offerings linked to the sea. Launched in 2020, the Ulysse Nardin Great White Diver is certainly no exception and was devised as a collaborative project between Ulysse Nardin and the Great White Shark research organization, OCEARCH, whose mission is to provide open-source data on the species through its program of catch, study, tag, and release. By bringing awareness to OCEARCH and providing resources to the organization, Ulysse Nardin has further established itself as one of the most ocean-centric watchmakers, and with this stunning timepiece, they have paid homage to the great white shark as the apex predator of the seas.

THE DIAL
Featuring a grey sandblasted dial, the Diver Chronograph Great White evokes the skin of the shark it is named after with white and blue accents to remind the wearer of the watery depths in which the shark resides.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Continuing the dial's grey aesthetic, the Diver Chronograph Great White is constructed from the grey metal titanium that evokes the Great White shark's skin and features the silhouette of the animal on the strap at 12 o'clock, which glows in the dark.
