Introduction
Introduced in 2023 as their first collaboration with the iconic television programme South Park, the Modello Uno U1-EC is a wonderful example of how to inject some fun and humor into an industry that notoriously takes itself too seriously. Limited to just 100 pieces and boasting a 40mm titanium construction with a black bezel, the U1-EC is a large and robust timepiece that benefits from titanium’s lightweight properties. However, while its presence is not all that loud on the wrist, its dial certainly is. Offered as a bright white dial with blue indices, the U1-EC’s display includes a full image of Eric Cartman, one of South Park’s most popular and iconic characters. Joined by his three friends, Stan, Kyle and Kenny, Eric is engraved on the U1-EC’s caseback, along with South Park’s city sign a scene South Park fans would be familiar with from the 26-year old TV show’s title sequence.
