Boasting a 41mm cushion-shaped case made of titanium with intricate Art Deco-styled lugs and a blend of surface finishes, the Quai de L'ile is a unique watch on the wrist given how few cushion-shaped cases we see on the market, but most of all, the relatively lightweight nature of titanium. Featuring a smoked sapphire dial with a grey chapter ring below and black hands, the Quai de L'ile Date provides a perfect view of the intricate inner-workings of it automatic VC cal. 5100/1 movement. Delicate applied steel Vacheron Maltese crosses grace the entire display in an impressive show of craftsmanship and attention to detail and along the dial periphery is the pointer date complication from which the model’s name is derived. Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The titanium case shows signs of careful wear, with some light marks around the strap bar screws. The display case back retains crisp engravings. The dial and hands are like new. It is fitted with a rubber strap showing some signs of wear and a Vacheron Constantin deployant clasp that remains near mint. Comes complete with an additional leather strap, presentation box set, warranty papers, booklet, magnifying glass, hangtags, and USB drive.
