Introduction
Designed in collaboration with Hodinkee and Zenith, the present example is a marriage between Hodinkee's ability to create timepieces that serve the demands of watchmaking purists and Zenith's ability to create spectacular watches. As a result, the duo have created the watch we have here, a faithful blend of two of Zenith's most iconic chronographs, the A386, and the A271. With the A386's 38mm stainless steel case, Hodinkee have paired a beautiful sunburst slate grey dial sporting the same layout as the A271 with two registers, no date and simple inscriptions. Limited to just 25 pieces, this remarkable timepiece is incredibly rare and presents a wonderful chance to wear a watch that blends two iconic pieces of vintage horological design together in a modern watch that will surely stand the test of time.

THE DIAL
With its sunburst slate grey dial borrowed from the mid-60s ref. A271, this example features faceted rhodium hour markers and hands, two registers and no date - a reminder of the simpler times that existed during the dawn of the automatic chronograph.
THE MOVEMENT
Powered by Zenith's famously good El Primero cal. 4069, this timepiece is regulated to COSC standards and provides a stunning view of its labrynthine construction from behind its sapphire crystal exhibition caseback.
